About Annette

A creative life, and a pathway back to yours

For a long time, I believed creativity was something you either had… or you didn’t.

Something reserved for the “talented.”
The “gifted.”
The lucky few.

But over time — through my own life, my art, and the women I’ve worked with — I’ve come to understand something very different.

Creativity isn’t something you’re given.

It’s something you return to.

My Story

I’ve been a practising visual artist for over 40 years.

Art has always been a part of my life — a way of seeing, of processing, of being.

But even with that, I’ve experienced the ebb and flow of creativity.

The times where life takes over.
Where your creative voice becomes quieter.
Where you feel disconnected from something that once felt so natural.

And I began to notice… I wasn’t alone.

So many women I met had once been creative — or felt they could have been — but somewhere along the way, life had taken over.

Work.
Family.
Responsibility.
Self-doubt.

And slowly, creativity slipped to the side.

Not because it wasn’t there.
But because the space for it disappeared.

The Turning Point

What became clear to me was this:

It’s not that creativity disappears.

It’s that we’re never shown how to create in a way that fits real life.

Most art classes teach technique.

But they don’t teach you how to:

  • Begin again

  • Keep going

  • Work with self-doubt

  • Create consistently in the middle of a full life

And that’s where so many women get stuck.

MY WORK TODAY

Today, I bring together everything I’ve learned — as an artist and as a coach — to support women to reconnect with their creativity.

I’m a:

  • Visual Artist (40+ years)

  • Creativity Coach

  • Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology)

  • Certified Art Life Coach

  • NLP Practitioner

  • Human Design Coach

  • Professional Member of the National Association for the Visual Arts (NAVA)

But more than qualifications, what I bring is lived experience — and a deep understanding of what it really takes to return to your creativity.

THE CREATIVEWAY METHOD™

This is where the CreativeWay Method™ was born.

Not as a rigid system.

But as a gentle, structured pathway back to your creative self.

A way to:

  • Rebuild your creative confidence

  • Quiet the inner critic

  • Create in a way that feels natural and sustainable

  • Bring creativity back into your everyday life

WHAT I BELIEVE

If something in you has been quietly waiting…
If you’ve been feeling the pull back to your creativity…

You don’t have to figure it out on your own.

I’d love to walk alongside you.

AN INVITATION

  • Creativity is not a talent — it’s part of who we are

  • Your creativity is not broken — and it has never left you

  • You don’t need more time — you need a different way

  • There is no “right way” to be creative — only your way

And most importantly…

That it’s never too late to begin again.
